Our Mission

Our mission is simple. Our focus is laser-like. The East NOLA Business Development District (East NOLA BDD) has been established to advance economic growth, investment, and business development concerns in East New Orleans through education and technical assistance for business, infrastructure improvements, and image enhancement.

Our collaboration has established a strong track record over the past years of galvanizing the community to influence positive change in East NOLA. Key projects underway include; commercial blight removal; improved lighting; corridor beautification; retail attraction and a re-branding campaign.
